La Foret Conference & Retreat Center

La Foret Conference & Retreat Center is spread over approximately 430 acres in Black Forest and is a secluded, peaceful enclave just 15miles north of Colorado Springs. We host many events from weddings, music festivals, summer camps, and retreats. Because of our multifaceted location we have the ability to offer flexibility to filming crews. There is ample room for large-scale basecamps, grip trucks, craft services, and crew parking without the hassle of public interference. With our full service kitchen craft service and meals could even be accommodated. Amongst the many amenities we offer a stone Labyrinth, meditation trail, and many hiking trails. We have multiple buildings in the historical registry. Our original lodge was designed by Denver architect Jules Jacques Benois Benedict in 1928. The Chapel was built in 1929 (in original condition) and was design by noted Santa Fe architect John Gaw Meem. The Chapel is sited to take advantage of the majestic views of Pikes Peak, the mission style chapel features a hand-carved beamed ceiling and hand painted alter and archways. On property we house a dining hall (capacity 180), full service kitchen, 10 cabins, a main home (historic from 1928), a new (2M) Lodge, a historical Chapel (built in 1929), a private village that houses 6 yurts(with private bathhouse and meeting space) and multiple fire circles. Inglis Hall is a multi-purpose facility has a 210 person capacity, boasts a huge central fireplace, raised stage, sound system, with catering kitchen. Our buildings are nestled around a beautiful open meadow. Interiors & exteriors are both available regarding all buildings.
