Denver Community Media

Denver Community Media provides accessible media production tools, digital media training, mentorship, and content distribution to the Denver community. We specifically target underserved and underrepresented voices and exist to bridge the digital divide. Our podcast studio is “plug and play” – you just show up, sit down, pull up your graphic for a backdrop, and hit record. Our main studio control room is set up so one person can produce a show without a production crew. Alternatively, it can accommodate a full broadcast crew with technical director, assistant director, producer, audio engineer & camera operator. Both the podcast and main production studios give you the ability to take virtual callers, input mixed effects & graphics, livestream to multiple platforms at once, iso-record and/or switch cameras, and multi-track audio record. Our studios are HDTV broadcast quality video production studios and include robotics controlled and manually operated industry standard HD and 4K cameras, professional lighting options, audio mixing board, multiple back drop options, green screen, and talent support with teleprompter and IFB communication. We are Denver's Public Access TV and Online Streaming distribution program. Residents of Colorado can submit content to us and we air it on Cablecast TV channels 56, 57 & 881 and online streaming & VOD platforms. Submit content and get your own channel/playlist! We provide affordable resources for non-commercial, independent media production. Our mission is to support and elevate community voices. We have classes available for podcasting, studio and TV production, video editing, color correction, field shooting, camera framing, storytelling, script writing, and more. We can teach you how to produce your own professional quality media content. Denver Community Media also has monthly hands-on learning opportunities for members to take part in professional video shoots and livestreams - experience you can put on your resume. Located conveniently within walking distance of Denver's 16th Street Mall, Coors Field, and Union Station, our studios offer an affordable solution for local creators looking to produce high-quality audio and video content.
