Civic Center Park is literally in the heart of Denver, bounded by the State Capitol, the City and County Building, the Denver Public Library the Denver Art Museum, and downtown Denver. It features a Greek amphitheater (c. 1919), magnificent views of downtown Denver, a public statuary and a wading pool. It often hosts public festivals and fairs.
