These amazing sand and stone cliffs stretch for 200 miles east to west, rising on the north side of the Grand Valley, just north of Grand Junction. The top of the cliffs is a multi-colored solid rock cliff with bands of sand. Interstate 70 runs westward along its lower edges. This is also an area where wild horses run free.
