Tanya Ishikawa has been a professional writer since 1989. She is an award-winning journalist and public relations consultant, assisting clients with media relations, website content, social media, event coordination, fundraising, and video production. Tanya has written a coming-of-age dramatic feature screenplay: "Summer Leaves," a suspense teleplay: "Ancestral Ties," and many short films in various genres. She recently completed writing a horror feature titled, "Nuclear Refugees."
An aspiring screenwriter, Tanya's desire to produce films and documentaries led her to produce shows and volunteer on projects at Denver Open Media. She produced and edited a monthly TV show, In the Loop: Colorado Filmmaking for 13 episodes in one year.
