Proficient skills in all areas of sound department. (Sound mixing/Boom operating) Gained a passion for film and sound in high school by attending an audio engineering class and film class around the same time. Found a happen place in between by doing sound for film. Really focused on those skills during attending college at Santa Fe University of Art and DesignHoping to continue to learn and perfect those skills.
During my time in college I joined many student lead crews and also had the opportunity to join larger production film crews as an extra and production assistant. During my final years of college I interned for the New Mexico Film Office and Meow Wolf which both lead me to greater opportunities such as; being a sound intern for The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, which was written and directed by the Coen Brothers, and Assistant Directing phase one of the Meow Wolf : Origin Story Documentary.Since moving back to my home state of Colorado I have mostly been doing freelance work where I can find it. My most recent credit being a docu series titled "It Shouldn't Be This Hard: LGBTQ+ Representation and The Fandoms Who Fight For It" which is currently in the post production stages.I'd love to find something more consistent so that I can continue doing what I'm most passionate about. Story telling. I have about 15 years of film experience, 10 of those focusing heavily on production sound mixing.I own most of my own sound equipment which includes:Zoom F4 Field RecorderAperture Deity Shotgun Condenser MicRode Blimp/“Dead Cat”K-Tek Boom Pole3 XLRs2 Sennheiser Transmitters2 Sennheiser Receivers2 Lav Mics
